The difficult part (70 to 99): Tips
To sum up, 70 (soixante-dix) means literally ‘sixty ten‘ (60+10).
Then, you have 80 (quatre-vingts) which means literally ‘four twenties‘ (4 x 20).
Finally, 90 means literally ‘four twenties ten‘ (4 x 20 + 10).
Note: 71 is ‘soixante et onze’ which means ‘sixty and eleven‘.

Pronounciation tip: be careful of the liaison when some words are preceded by 5, 6, 8 or 10. For example, to say ’10 minutes’ we often say ‘dee minute’ not ‘dees minute’. It’s not a big deal if you dont pronounce it perfectly, so don’t worry about it. It’s just good to know !
